Wayne G. Glena

Wolcottsville: Wayne G. Glena, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 3, 2021. He was born October 30, 1946 in the Town of Royalton to the late Avery and Erma (Wolfe) Glena.

Wayne was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed spending his retirement watching movies and Westerns with John Wayne. He also spent time traveling and collecting coins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Laura and son, David Carpenter.

Wayne is survived by his children, Wayne Glena Jr., Stephanie Glena, Gordon (Kim) Glena, Matthew (Claudia) Glena, Christina (Doug) Karlak, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings, Lois (George) Jago, Roland (Sharon) Glena, Carolyn (Albert) Claude, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Thursday, October 7th from 3:00-6:00pm only. His graveside service will be held Friday at St. Michaels Cemetery in Wolcottsville at 9:00am.
