4/11/1932-6/11/2016 At age 84, surrounded by family, Wesley went to be with the Lord. Son of the late George Rouse and Sarah Rouse-Thompson, and step father George C. Thompson. He was predeceased by his brother George (Kenny) Rouse and sister Evelyn Wise-Taylor. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Gurnsey) Rouse for 63 years. Cherished father of Steven Rouse (Sherry Blake), Debbie Klein (Todd), Diane Rouse, Brad Rouse (Carol). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Zachary, Brittnie, and Shelby, great-grandfather of Cheyanne and Bay Lee.
After 25 years at Eastman Kodak, Wesley and his wife Marilyn took a trip out west. The couple loved to travel and spent many winters in Florida. Wesley loved camping and fishing. Wesley was an Army combat medic in the Korean War. The family will be present on Saturday at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home 12 Ingersoll Street Albion, NY at 11 am to receive family and friends. A service will be held at 12. Burial will follow the service at Mount Albion, with military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Orleans.
