Obituary of William Charles Perry Medina: William Charles Perry, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer on June 4, 2017. He was born June 1, 1957 in Rome, NY to the late Stanley and Margaret Perry. William served his country in the U.S. Army from 1979-1982 as an E4. He worked for the U.S.P.S. as a mail carrier for 24 years after his military service. He was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Roxbury Fire Department from 1990-2007. William and his wife moved to the Medina area in 2013 from Roxbury, NY. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching car #3, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and also loved the Dallas Cowboys. William was always serving his community in any way that he could throughout his life. The greatest joy of his life was being a grandfather and spending time with his grandsons was what he loved to do. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister; Susan Perry. William is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Laurie, daughters; Melissa (Scott) Buffin, Heather Perry, siblings; Becky (John) LaGasse, Christine (James) Westcott, Denise (Bruce) Gaylord, Stanley Perry Jr., Dawn (Michael) Jenkins, Stacey Robinson, grandchildren; Landon, David, Grayson Buffin, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Lyndonville United Methodist Church, 102 North Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, on Friday June 9th from 10:00-12:00pm where his funeral service will be held at 12:00pm.
