Obituary of William G. Rush (ALBION) William G. “Bill” Rush, age 46, died January 29, 2020 suddenly after a brief illness in Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born June 12, 1973 in Albion, the son of Roger and Eleanor (Minckley) Rush and was a life-long resident of this area. Bill was a self-employed painting contractor who had a great love of the outdoors. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, snowmobiling, spending time at Deer Camp, and hanging out with his friends. He also loved to cook…especially enjoyed smoking various foods and cooking BBQ. Bill not only loved to hang out with his friends but also loved to spend time with his family and his dog “Edie”. Mr. Rush was predeceased by his mother Eleanor Rush. He is survived by his father: Roger Rush of Albion, sisters: Amy (Scott) Ryan of Rochester, Sharon (Chris) Brown of Long Island, 1 niece, as well as several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave.-Albion, MONDAY from 4-7 p.m. only. Family and friends are invited to attend Bill’s Graveside Service TUESDAY 11 a.m. in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
