Obituary of William H. Seager (ALBION)
William H. Seager, age 82, died peacefully 10/15/2010 in Medina Memorial Hospital while under Hospice care. He was born 7/22/28 in Albion to Harry and Louise(Tripp)Seager and was a life-long resident of this area. Mr. Seager was a US Army veteran of the Korean War having served in Germany from 1950-52 in the 75th Ordinance Depot. While serving in the Army Reserves he was the recipient of the Army of Occupation Medal. Bill worked for many years as a heavy equipment and crane operator starting at the age of 16. His career began with Woodruff and Pilon Construction and continued while working at Balcerzak Construction and Petronio Construction Companies. Mr. Seager was a 53 year member of Local #463, and for many recent years was owner of Seager Construction Company which he operated with his son. Bill was also a life-long member of the Barre Sportsman Club and a member of the American Legion.
