William Whatley

Obituary of William Whatley Albion: William H. Whatley age 85, died October 25, 2013 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Bill was born December 20, 1927 in Chattenooga TN., a son of the late Walter & Lizzymay (Johnson) Whatley. He had lived for the past 3 years at Clover Hill in Albion where he was treated like family. Bill served in the US Navy and US Army and had served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Bill and his loving companion Joan Thiel , enjoyed traveling in the United States and Europe.
In addition to his loving companion Joan Thiel, Bill is also survived by his daughter, Billi Stalder of Burgaw NC. and 4 grandchildren. Services and interment will be held in private. Memorials may be made to Boys Town National Headquarters, 200 Flanagan Blvd., P.O. Box 8000, Boys Town, NE. 68010. Visitation
