He was born in Gaines May 22, 1932, the son of the late Gladys (Cady) & Coral P. Davis and was a life-long resident of the area. Paul served with the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 and was stationed at various locations in the United States and Germany. He was a charter member of the Barre Fire Company and a member of West Barre United Methodist Church, where he served as a trustee for several years. He worked for the former T.J. Lipton Company for thirty one years. He then went to work at Ontario Foods and Marlin Walter Heating & Electric. Paul was an avid Mr. Fix It, who was always very happy tinkering in his workshop. His other interests included fishing and puttering in his garden.
