Charles J. Taylor, age 89 of S. Street formerly of Lockport, died Saturday May 20, 2006 in Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lockport on June 17, 1921. Mr. Taylor was a United States Coast Guard Veteran serving between 1942 and 1945 in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Elks Club of Rockledge, FL and worked for NY Telephone Co. in Lockport for over 30 years as a lineman and installer. Charles was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, the NY Telephone Retirees and attended St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Albion.
