I, Jody Nickerson, daughter of Shirley Taccone, spent many summers with Aunt Jan and family in their home in the country of Albion, NY. As my family owned a restaurant in Charlotte NY the country setting exposure was a great impact in my life and which produced some of my fondest childhood memories. Aunt Jan will always hold a special place in my heart.
Dear Jan's family---So sorry of your lost----what a nice lady---she sure had some nice and great children--It has been many years since we lived near each other--- you kids and our kids had some good times together--will always remember that---RIP, Jan Love to all- Irene Woolston
We have such fond memories of Jan when she was Christian Education Director at the Medina Methodist Church and we were Youth Fellowship counselors. Jan was such and inspiration and left a huge void when she moved on to enter the full time ministry. Our deepest sympathies to Jan's entire family, especially those we were close to in the MYF.

I am so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. She was a dear friend of our family, officiated at my wedding and both my grandparents funerals. My prayers go out to the Southcott family and hope they find comfort in knowing she is at peace and surrounded by family and friends who have passed before her. Kim (Wright) Pritt
