So sorry to hear about Betsy. Betsy and Dick are part of our memories when visiting Mary Ann, Tom and Jane at the lake. Always interesting and fun conversations over a beer or a glass of wine...looking out over the lake...Rest in Peace
We're so sad to hear the news of this loss to our Lakeside community - it's the end of a classic era and has triggered many fond memories of our many decades at the lake. Memories that include seeing our names every so often in the Lakeside News column and days on the beach back when we had one.......
Rest in peace Betsey, your legacy lives on.
Judy (Bohnet) Kronenberg
We will all miss Betsy at Lakeside. She and Dick were very gracious with giving us all dock space, a meeting place on the Liar's bench, a glass of wine and many stories and facts about history and the community. Having known Betsy since I was a kid, we had much to talk about. I will remember Betsy as an intelligent, witty and funny lady. She had a special bond with my cat Ozzy and when I would get ready to walk over to see her, I would say "Let's go see Betsy" and he would come running and go in with me and Betsy loved to see him. I will miss you my friend. God bless.
