I connected with Bill (and Pat) later in his life and during his battle with Parkinson's. Bill and Pat moved to Appleton just a few years ago, and became active in our church, Ridgewood Bible Church. They came to my home group and interacted cheerfully, even though it was difficult for Bill. He was always cheerful and fun to be with. He had a great sense of humor. I visited them shortly after Covid started in 2020, and we watched the online church service together. It was very special for me and I will never forget Bill's enthusiasm and cheerfulness. He truly represented a dedicated love of God and people!
Pat and family, sending love and prayers! The grief journey is difficult! Be patient with yourself and take the time to care for yourself! HUGS! I love you!
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they must be felt with the heart!
Helen Keller (1880-1968)
We know Bill has touched the heart of many and as a member of Island Chapel - Tierra Verde, Florida, we can say without a doubt that he and Pat are very dear to those who fellowshipped with them at church. We are sure he's whistling some beautiful tunes with his Savior!
May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.
With sincere sympathy,
Roger, Sandra and Carly Jewel Green
