Clarendon: With his larger-than-life personality and boisterous laugh, Danny “Dan” “Papa” Moore passed peacefully on May 15, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1956 in Brockport to the late Lewis and Arlene (VanOrden) Moore.
Danny was immersed in the community and neighborhood of each place he lived. Selfless and strong, the world could rely on Dan for every need no matter how small and would work on anything that needed to be fixed. His zest for life pushed him to always be learning something new and meeting new friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Danny is survived by his wife, Kimberly, children, Randy (Donna) Moore, Andrea (Mike) Geglia, step-daughter, Kristie Yager, grandchildren, Tyler, Lily, Octavia, Penelope, Joseph, siblings, Sue (David) Quarantello, Charles (Cindy) Moore, Paul (Holly) Moore, loyal four-legged companion, Missy, mother of his children, Rosemary Steffen, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
