I realize that what I couldn’t put my finger on at the time. but what I always appreciated about David was how present he was when we talked. He was genuinely interested in what I was saying. That may sound simple, but his authentic engagement and questions when we ran into each other or met for dinner and cards with friends was just so refreshing. Thanks for being you with me and many others Dave!
I remember Dave as a middle school student at Martha Brown being very kind, happy, helpful and bigger than life. Even though I have not seen him in many years, his smile and love of life and gentle spirit will always be cherished and never forgotten. We all thank you Dave for sharing your gift of life and love with us.

Dave you will forever be remembered by so many as the Gentle Giant, Big Dave, Papa Bear, the kindest most loving friend anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for keeping in touch all these years. Thank you for always meeting me, even for just a quick meal on my trips out to NoCal. Gotta say the SF Cable car ride was the best. Thank you for always asking about my Mom and Morgan. Prayers to your family .... till we meet again some day... Barb
I am so sorry. Life will never be the same for me not talking hockey, especially about our Sabres, with Dave. I am certain the Lord is with him. Hopefully the pain of his loss in this world will subside and before you know it you will be in his presence again with our Lord Jesus. Our prayers are with you all!! I am posting the Sabres emblem and I know he is ok with that for sure.
We invite you to contact us at any time if you have questions, comments or concerns. We are happy to assist you in anyway we can and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
